Tragic Wrong-Way Crash Claims Life of Brytni Elliott in Fort Worth, TX – September 18, 2025
In Fort Worth, Texas, the community is mourning the loss of Brytni Elliott, who was killed in a devastating wrong-way vehicle collision on September 14, 2025. The crash occurred on Boat Club Road, just minutes from the Elliott family's home. Brytni was a long-serving Director of Nursing at the Tarrant County Correctional Facility and is remembered for her selfless and compassionate nature. Her husband, Spencer Elliott, a Navy reservist and teacher at Keller High School, remains hospitalized with serious injuries. Their daughter Allie, age 12, sustained a broken arm, while their other children, Cooper and Eli, were traveling in a separate vehicle and were unharmed.
Family friend John Nelson has spearheaded fundraising and community support efforts for the family, acknowledging the overwhelming financial and emotional burdens they now face. A public vigil has been planned in Brytni’s memory, scheduled for September 21 at Boswell Baseball Field.
