On the evening of Friday, April 25, 2025, a tragic incident occurred in Waukegan, Illinois, resulting in the death of 54-year-old pedestrian Jerry Jackson. The Lake County Coroner’s Office reported that first responders were dispatched just after 8 p.m. to the intersection of Lewis Avenue and Harding Avenue following a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian. Despite the swift response, Jackson was transported to Vista Medical Center East, where he was pronounced deceased.
