Marcia Rice Injured in Brainerd Car Accident on Highway 210

On May 29, 2025, at approximately 8:10 AM, a two-vehicle collision occurred on Westbound Highway 210 at Mile Post 125 in Brainerd, Crow Wing County, Minnesota. The incident involved a 2015 Chevy Sonic, driven by Marcia Gayle Rice, 73, of Ironton, Minnesota, which was parked on the north shoulder of the highway, and a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer, operated by Sharon Ann Pierce, 77, also of Ironton, traveling westbound. The Trailblazer made contact with the stationary Sonic, resulting in both vehicles coming to rest on the shoulder—the Trailblazer facing west and the Sonic facing north. The road conditions were dry, and the Minnesota State Patrol is currently investigating the cause of the accident.

Both drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Essentia Health for treatment. Responding agencies included the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office, Brainerd Fire Department, Brainerd Police Department, and North Memorial Ambulance.
