Alan Alday Involved in Vehicle Crash on Highway 78 in Monroe, Georgia

On May 15, 2025, a vehicle crash occurred on Highway 78 in Monroe, Georgia, involving Alan Alday. According to official reports, a 2019 F250, driven by William Jones, was traveling east on Highway 78 and failed to stop at a red light at the intersection of Unisia Drive. The F250 struck a 2024 Honda Accord driven by Alan Alday, causing the Honda to rotate and come to rest facing west in the turning lane. The F250 subsequently veered off the north shoulder and collided with a tree. Alday was entrapped in his vehicle and required extrication by fire personnel. He was transported to a local hospital with injuries of unknown severity. Jones was determined to be driving under the influence, and charges against him are pending.
