On May 15, 2025, a vehicle crash occurred on Highway 78 in Monroe, Georgia, involving Alan Alday. According to official reports, a 2019 F250, driven by William Jones, was traveling east on Highway 78 and failed to stop at a red light at the intersection of Unisia Drive. The F250 struck a 2024 Honda Accord driven by Alan Alday, causing the Honda to rotate and come to rest facing west in the turning lane.
