Lajessica Mayo Injured in Fatal Little Rock Accident on May 15, 2025
On May 15, 2025, at approximately 10:45 AM, a tragic accident occurred at the intersection of 100 John Barrow Rd in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, resulting in one fatality and two injuries. According to the Arkansas Department of Public Safety, a 1999 Kawasaki motorcycle, operated by 27-year-old Kenneth Overstreet of Shannon Hills, was traveling westbound on W. Markham St. when it ran a red light and collided with a 2013 Cadillac, driven by 48-year-old Lajessica Mayo of Mabelvale, who was traveling northbound on John Barrow Rd. The collision, which took place under clear weather conditions with dry roads, marked a devastating event for the local community.
Kenneth Overstreet was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body was transported to the Pulaski County Coroner’s Office, with his next of kin duly notified. Lajessica Mayo and a minor passenger in her vehicle sustained injuries and were promptly taken to Baptist Health Medical Center for treatment.
