Amanda Baumann Killed in Fatal Crash at Highway 67 and County Road 11 in Omro Township, MN – September 13, 2025
On September 13, 2025, a fatal collision occurred at the intersection of Highway 67 and County Road 11 in Omro Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. According to officials, a Chevrolet Impala traveling northbound on County Road 11 collided with a Ford F250 pickup traveling westbound on Highway 67. The vehicles impacted within the intersection under dry road conditions.
The driver of the Chevrolet Impala, 45-year-old Amanda Jane Baumann of Granite Falls, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The occupants of the Ford F250, including the 60-year-old driver and three passengers ranging in age from 31 to 83, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Dawson Hospital. The Minnesota State Patrol is continuing its investigation into the cause of the crash.
