On July 3, 2025, Brian Vickery, a physical education teacher at Pioneer Middle School in Wenatchee, Washington, was involved in a serious five-car collision at the intersection of South Miller Street and Millerdale Avenue. The accident occurred when a 65-year-old RV driver, identified as Johnny McCormick, lost power and ran a red light, according to Wenatchee Police Corporal Albert Gonzalez.
