Brittany Edin Injured in Becker County Collision at Highway 34 and County Road 29

On the afternoon of August 27, 2025, a two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Eastbound Highway 34 and County Road 29 in Erie Township, Becker County, Minnesota. A 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix, driven by 62-year-old Craig William Blonigan of Frazee, failed to yield while attempting a left turn and collided with an oncoming 2011 Mitsubishi Galant traveling eastbound on Highway 34.

Among the occupants of the Mitsubishi was 30-year-old Brittany Michele Edin of Lake George, Minnesota. Edin sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Essentia Hospital for medical attention. All individuals involved were wearing seat belts, and no alcohol was reported in connection with the incident. Emergency response was provided by Becker County Sheriff’s Office and Detroit Lakes Fire and Rescue.
