Morgan Jadan Bernal Critically Injured in Murray County, Oklahoma Crash – September 14, 2025

On the morning of September 14, 2025, a high-speed pursuit in Murray County, Oklahoma resulted in a violent crash that left four individuals critically injured. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the incident began when Murray County deputies attempted to stop a 2022 purple Dodge Charger driven by 19-year-old Caleb Ryan Cooper, who fled authorities at speeds exceeding 100 mph. After eluding pursuit, the vehicle crashed near East Main Street and Airport Road—striking a curb, going airborne, hitting a drainage ditch, and catching fire.

Among the passengers was 18-year-old Morgan Jadan Bernal, who, along with two others, remained trapped in the vehicle until extrication. One passenger was ejected. Bernal and the others were airlifted to OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Oklahoma City and remain in critical condition. The investigation is ongoing, and families of those involved have been notified.
