Deziree Rinquest Killed in I-84 Crash Near Morgan, Utah on September 14, 2025

On September 14, 2025, Deziree Dawn Rinquest, 52, of South Jordan, Utah, was fatally injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 84 near Morgan. According to the Utah Highway Patrol, a Jeep Grand Cherokee traveling westbound veered off the roadway and struck a stationary semitruck on the shoulder. Following the initial impact, the vehicle reentered traffic and was struck by a Chevrolet Silverado.

Rinquest, the passenger of the Jeep, was transported to a hospital where she was later pronounced deceased. The driver of the Jeep was also hospitalized, but no updates have been provided regarding their condition. Occupants of the semitruck and the Silverado were evaluated at the scene and did not require hospitalization. The incident remains under investigation by authorities.
