Chou Lee Injured in Multi-Vehicle Accident in Saint Michael, Minnesota

On May 26, 2025, at approximately 1:27 PM, a multi-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of southbound Highway 241 and Edgewood Drive Northeast in Saint Michael, Wright County, Minnesota. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2008 Toyota Tacoma, driven by 56-year-old Chieng Vang of Saint Paul, was traveling westbound on Highway 241 when it collided with a 2018 Acura MDX, driven by a 17-year-old female, traveling eastbound on the same highway. Following this initial collision, the Acura MDX then struck a 2019 Chevrolet Express, driven by 44-year-old Nicholas Allan Malikowski of Saint Michael, on Edgewood Drive Northeast. The incident occurred under dry road conditions and is currently under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol, with support from the Wright County Sheriff's Office, St. Michael Fire Department, and Allina Ambulance.

Chou Lee, a 52-year-old resident of Minneapolis and a passenger in the Toyota Tacoma, sustained non-life-threatening injuries during the accident and was transported to Mercy Hospital for medical attention. The drivers, Chieng Vang and Nicholas Allan Malikowski, were uninjured, and the injury status of the Acura MDX driver was not detailed in the report. All individuals involved were wearing seat belts at the time of the incident, and airbags deployed in both the Toyota Tacoma and the Acura MDX.
