Christine Pernu Injured in Motorcycle Crash on Highway 65 in Nett Lake Unorganized, MN

On August 30, 2025, a single-vehicle motorcycle accident occurred on Highway 65 near Reservation Highway 5 in Nett Lake Unorganized, Koochiching County, Minnesota. A 2010 Harley Davidson Electra Glide left the roadway and entered the ditch while the motorcyclist was making a turn. The motorcycle sustained disabling damage. Road conditions at the time of the crash were reported as dry.

Christine Lee Pernu, a 62-year-old female passenger from Barnum, MN, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Cook Hospital for medical care. She was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident. Emergency response was provided by Bois Forte Police Department, St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, and Bois Forte EMS.
