Dakota Clark-Deweese and Dylan Moore Injured in U.S. 12 Crash Near Mossyrock

Dakota C. Clark-Deweese of Selah and Dylan M. Moore of Yakima were among three individuals injured in a single-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 12 near Mossyrock, Washington, on the morning of August 24, 2025. The vehicle, a 2000 Toyota Corolla driven by 21-year-old Austin J. Singletary, lost control around 10:30 a.m., veered off the eastbound shoulder, and descended an embankment.

Clark-Deweese, age 21, was airlifted and remains hospitalized in Seattle on a respirator, according to a GoFundMe update. Moore, also 21, was transported to Providence Centralia Hospital and is believed to have been treated and released. Authorities confirmed Moore was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Intoxicants are not suspected to have played a role. The Washington State Patrol continues to investigate the incident.
