Dillon Cummings Injured in DUI-Related Crash on U.S. Highway 101 Near River Road in Sequim, WA
On the night of August 25, 2025, a traffic collision occurred on U.S. Highway 101 near the River Road overpass in Sequim, Washington. At approximately 9:05 p.m., a 2018 Chevrolet Camaro, driven by 48-year-old Kenneth Krom, struck the rear of a GMC Sierra towing a trailer. Krom’s vehicle came to rest in the westbound ditch, while the trailer separated and overturned into the eastbound ditch, scattering concrete debris across the highway.
Dillon Cummings, age 33, of Sequim, was a passenger in the Camaro. He sustained non-life-threatening arm injuries and was first treated at Olympic Medical Center before being airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Krom was arrested for driving under the influence and vehicular assault. Emergency responders reported all individuals were wearing seat belts.
