Darcy Connolly-Brunner Killed in Head-On Crash Near Orangeville

On August 9, 2025, at approximately 12:30 p.m., a fatal head-on collision occurred on State Route 26 near Oneco Road in Orangeville, Stephenson County, Illinois. Darcy Connolly-Brunner, a 61-year-old resident of Stephenson County, was driving a Ford Edge when a Nissan Altima, operated by a 30-year-old former Freeport resident, crossed the center line and struck her vehicle. Connolly-Brunner succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
