Devon Young Killed in Clay County, Arkansas Side-by-Side Crash on August 9, 2025

On the night of August 9, 2025, a fatal incident occurred in rural Clay County, Arkansas, involving a side-by-side vehicle. According to the Arkansas State Police, 30-year-old Devon Young of Beech Grove was a passenger in a 2023 Can-Am Defender traveling eastbound on County Road 2002 when the vehicle left the roadway. Young was ejected during the crash.

Following the ejection, the driver reportedly overcorrected, and the vehicle came to a stop after re-entering the roadway. Emergency responders transported Young to Lawrence Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The identity of the driver has not been released, and the incident remains under investigation by authorities.
