Diana Huseth Involved in Multi-Vehicle Collision on MN Highway 246

On April 2, 2025, at 5:11 PM, a collision involving three vehicles occurred on Minnesota Highway 246 near Jacobs Avenue in Northfield Township, Rice County. The incident involved a 2008 GMC Acadia traveling westbound and a 2018 Ford F150 and a 2015 Chrysler Town & Country traveling eastbound, which collided under dry road conditions. Diana Marilyn Huseth, 81, of Dennison, MN, was a passenger in the Chrysler Town & Country, driven by Ronald Jerome Huseth, 81, also of Dennison, MN. Both sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Northfield Hospital.

The driver of the GMC Acadia, Ramon Jimenez Ruiz, 45, of Red Wing, MN, was transported by a family member for non-life-threatening injuries, while the driver of the Ford F150, Daniel Nels Finne, 53, of Dodge Center, MN, was taken to Northfield Hospital with similar injuries. All individuals involved were wearing seat belts, and airbags deployed in each vehicle. The Rice County Sheriff's Office, Northfield Fire, and Ambulance responded to the scene, and no alcohol involvement was reported.
