Fatal Collision Claims Life of Robert Edward Keezer in Mahnomen County, MN – September 16, 2025

A fatal collision occurred on September 16, 2025, in Marsh Creek Township, Mahnomen County, Minnesota. At approximately 7:17 PM, a 2013 Dodge Avenger, traveling westbound on Highway 200, rear-ended an implement being towed by a 1998 Case International 8920 tractor. The road conditions were reported as dry at the time of the incident.

The collision resulted in the death of 53-year-old Robert Edward Keezer of Mahnomen, MN, who was a passenger in the Dodge Avenger. The driver of the Avenger, 20-year-old Chance Eugene Keezer, also from Mahnomen, was uninjured. Alcohol involvement was confirmed for the driver. The tractor, operated by 68-year-old Donald Gregory Kaiser of Gary, MN, sustained no reported injuries. Local law enforcement and emergency services, including WEPD, NCSO, MCSO, MFD, and Essentia Ambulance, responded to the scene.
