Fatal Collision in Denison, Texas: Cement Truck Driver Enrique Martinez Jr. Killed (August 19, 2025)
On August 18, 2025, a fatal two-vehicle collision occurred in Denison, Texas, at the intersection of Refuge Road and FM-1417. A 2025 Toyota Tundra, driven by Dylan Mathews, 29, reportedly failed to stop at a stop sign, resulting in a collision with a cement truck. The driver of the cement truck, identified as 26-year-old Enrique Martinez Jr. of Sherman, was airlifted to Texoma Medical Center.
Martinez Jr. was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed that an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
