Fatal Crash in Mayes County Claims Life of Chad Flickinger

On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, a devastating accident occurred in Mayes County, Oklahoma, resulting in the death of 36-year-old Chad Flickinger. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) reported that the incident took place at approximately 6:06 a.m. on Kenwood Road, roughly six miles east of Salina. According to authorities, a pickup truck traveling along the road attempted to pass another vehicle in a designated no-passing zone, leading to a head-on collision with a car driven by Flickinger. Despite both drivers’ attempts to swerve northward to avoid the crash, the impact was unavoidable.

Chad Flickinger was transported to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition following the collision. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead two days later, on Thursday, April 17, 2025. The driver of the pickup truck declined medical treatment at the scene.
