Fatal Head-On Collision on I-15 Claims Life of Christopher Suiter

On May 27, 2025, a head-on collision occurred on Interstate 15 in Payson, Utah, resulting in the deaths of two individuals. Riley Durst, a 19-year-old resident of Draper, Utah, was operating a Kia in the northbound lanes just beyond the Main Street interchange when the vehicle crossed into the southbound lanes. After becoming airborne, the Kia collided with a Jeep driven by Christopher Suiter, a 50-year-old from Santaquin, Utah. Both Durst and Suiter sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash also impacted two additional vehicles, which sustained damage after encountering debris from the collision. No injuries were reported among the occupants of these vehicles.
