Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Hawkinsville Road in Macon, Georgia: Cynthia Pruitt Identified (August 19, 2025)
On the evening of August 19, 2025, a pedestrian was fatally struck on Hawkinsville Road in Macon, Georgia. The incident occurred at approximately 9:41 p.m. near the intersection of McMillian Drive. According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, a northbound Ford vehicle struck a 49-year-old female pedestrian.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased from her injuries. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has formally identified the deceased as Cynthia Pruitt of Macon.
