Fatima Jaamac Injured in Fatal Arden Hills Crash

On August 12, 2025, at 6:26 p.m., a fatal vehicular collision occurred on westbound Interstate 694 at Highway 10 in Arden Hills, Ramsey County, Minnesota. A 2011 Subaru Legacy, driven by Fatuma Yussuf Sharif-Isaack, 21, of Brooklyn Park, veered from the right lane into the left shoulder, struck a guardrail, rolled over, and collided with a 2021 Honda CR-V driven by Lynie Rose Lee, 41, of Maplewood. Sharif-Isaack, who was not wearing a seatbelt, succumbed to her injuries at HCMC. Fatima Mursal Jaamac, 21, also of Brooklyn Park, a passenger in the Subaru, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to HCMC for treatment. Another passenger, Ayan Ali Hassan, 20, of Fridley, was similarly injured and received medical care at the same facility.The incident occurred under dry road conditions, and the Honda driver reported no injuries. The Minnesota State Patrol, with assistance from Allina EMS, St. Paul Fire, and Ramsey County authorities, is conducting an ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash.
