Flora Hernandez Killed in Pedestrian Collision on Loop 250 in Midland, Texas – August 11, 2025

On August 11, 2025, 36-year-old Flora Hernandez of Midland, Texas, was fatally struck by a truck on West Loop 250 North during the early morning hours. According to the Midland Police Department, the incident occurred around 2:45 a.m. when a 2022 International truck traveling eastbound encountered a pedestrian standing in the roadway.

The truck driver attempted to swerve to avoid Hernandez but was unable to prevent the collision. She was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of her injuries.
