Gregory Solewin Struck by Vehicle in Washington DUI Crash

On June 21, 2025, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Gregory Solewin, a 34-year-old resident of San Angelo, Texas, was struck by a vehicle while resecuring his trailer on the eastbound shoulder of Interstate 82, near milepost 76, one mile east of Grandview, Washington. The incident occurred when a vehicle traveling eastbound left the roadway, collided with Solewin and his parked vehicle, and subsequently rolled over. Solewin sustained injuries and was transported to Kadlec Medical Center for treatment.

The driver of the striking vehicle, a 31-year-old man from Prosser, Washington, was also injured and taken to Prosser Memorial Hospital. The Washington State Patrol has charged the driver with vehicular assault, citing driving under the influence as the cause of the collision. The investigation into the incident remains ongoing, with no further details released at this time.
