Heather Mae Dressen Injured in School Bus Collision on Highway 91 in Cameron Township, Minnesota – September 11, 2025

On the afternoon of September 11, 2025, a two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Highway 91 and 171st Street in Cameron Township, Murray County, Minnesota. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the incident involved a westbound school bus that had stopped at a posted stop sign and a southbound 2018 Chevy Traverse driven by 40-year-old Heather Mae Dressen of Tyler, Minnesota. The vehicles collided in the intersection under dry road conditions.

Heather Dressen sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital in Slayton for evaluation. The school bus driver, 66-year-old John Richard Swart of Slayton, was uninjured. No passengers were reported on the bus at the time of the incident, and alcohol was not a contributing factor. The collision remains under review by local authorities.
