Susan Diane Schwarz Injured in Motorcycle Collision on Highway 61 in Wabasha County, Minnesota – September 11, 2025

On the morning of September 11, 2025, a two-vehicle collision occurred on Highway 61 at the intersection with Wabasha County Road 77 in Pepin Township, Wabasha County, Minnesota. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a southbound 2018 Harley Davidson motorcycle, operated by Eric James Schwarz of Brooklyn Park, collided with a 2022 Kia Sportage driven by 79-year-old Donald Anthony Evanson of Minnesota City. The collision occurred under dry road conditions.

The motorcycle passenger, 62-year-old Susan Diane Schwarz of Brooklyn Park, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester for medical care. Eric Schwarz also sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the SUV was uninjured. No impairment was suspected in connection with any party involved, and all appropriate safety equipment was in use at the time of the incident.
