Jackson Vasquez Involved in Serious Car Crash on Dallas Highway in Cobb County

On February 23, 2025, a significant vehicular accident took place on Dallas Highway in Cobb County, Georgia, involving 22-year-old Jackson Vasquez. According to the Cobb County Police Department, the incident occurred around 7:36 p.m. at the intersection of Dallas Highway and Midway Road. Vasquez, driving a green 2009 Toyota Camry, had been involved in an initial collision that rendered his vehicle disabled. As he exited his car to assess the situation, a black 1997 Ford Thunderbird LX, operated by 61-year-old Mark Richter, collided with both Vasquez and his stationary Camry, causing the Camry to spin and strike another individual at the scene.

Emergency services promptly transported Vasquez to Kennestone Hospital, where he was treated for serious injuries. Three passengers in his vehicle—identified as 35-year-old Elder Vasquez, 27-year-old Maridelia Lopez, and a 5-year-old girl—were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Mark Richter, the driver of the Thunderbird, emerged from the incident unharmed. The Cobb County Police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, and it remains uncertain whether Richter will face any charges as a result of the collision.
