John and Debra Freudenrich Involved in Multi-Vehicle Accident in Morrision County

On July 26, 2025, at approximately 11:02 AM, a multi-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Highway 27 and 285th Avenue in LASTRUP, Morrision County, Minnesota. The incident involved three vehicles: a 2025 Harley Davidson motorcycle, a 2007 Buick Lucerne, and a 2010 Nissan Altima. The motorcycle, operated by John David Freudenrich, aged 67, with Debra Jean Freudenrich, aged 61, as a passenger, both residents of Little Falls, Minnesota, was struck by the Nissan Altima following its collision with the Buick Lucerne. The Buick Lucerne, driven by Allysia Marie Fairbanks, aged 28, from Robbinsdale, Minnesota, was traveling westbound on Highway 27 when it collided with the southbound Nissan Altima, driven by Amber Noelle Cekalla, aged 47, from Pierz, Minnesota, causing the Altima to veer into the motorcycle’s path. John and Debra Freudenrich both sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Saint Gabes for medical treatment. Neither individual was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident. The drivers of the Buick Lucerne and Nissan Altima, along with Cynthia Rose Lochner, aged 70, a passenger in the Altima from Pierz, Minnesota, reported no injuries. All occupants of the Buick and Nissan were wearing seat belts. The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the accident, with support from the Morrison County Sheriff's Office, Mayo EMS, and the Lasturp Fire Department. Road conditions at the time were dry.
