Jorge Martinez Killed in Suspected DUI Crash on I-82 in Sunnyside, Washington

On the night of September 3, 2025, 29-year-old Jorge G. Estrada Martinez was fatally struck by a vehicle while walking along the shoulder of Interstate 82 in Sunnyside, Washington. The collision occurred around 10:25 p.m. near Exit 69. According to a statement released by the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the driver involved was traveling eastbound when they hit Martinez, who was outside a vehicle at the time of the crash.
