Karen Mickolichek Injured in Hutchinson Multi-Vehicle Collision

On May 2, 2025, at approximately 11:47 a.m., a collision involving three vehicles occurred on Highway 15 between Freemont and S Grade Avenues in Hutchinson, Mcleod County, Minnesota. The Minnesota State Patrol reported that a 2019 Ford F150, a 2017 Ford Escape, and a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee, all traveling northbound, were involved in the incident. The drivers—Ethan Nicholas Glesener, aged 21, of Hutchinson; Cheryl Ann Telecky, aged 70, of Cokato; and Jaden David Kurtz, aged 24, of Dassel—escaped without injuries. However, Karen Kay Mickolichek, a 71-year-old passenger in the Ford Escape, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Hutchinson Health for medical attention.

The crash occurred under dry road conditions, with airbags deploying in the Ford Escape. Emergency response teams, including the Hutchinson Police Department and Allina Ambulance, attended the scene. The Minnesota State Patrol District 2200 Mankato is conducting an ongoing investigation to determine the cause of the collision.
