Life-Threatening Injuries in Lakeville Rollover Crash Involving Multiple Passengers

On April 19, 2025, at approximately 11:03 p.m., a severe single-vehicle accident occurred on northbound Interstate 35 near the exit to 185th Street in Lakeville, Dakota County, Minnesota. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander, driven by 59-year-old Alejandro Segundo Matos Aguirre of Inver Grove Heights, veered off the roadway and rolled over, resulting in one passenger being ejected. The ejected passenger, 60-year-old Jose Armando Sanchez Aguillon of West Saint Paul, suffered life-threatening injuries and was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The driver and two other passengers, 59-year-old Pablo Julio Miller Saavedra and 46-year-old Yglaider A Torrealba Soto, both of Inver Grove Heights, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) for treatment. Emergency response teams from the Lakeville Police Department, Lakeville Fire Department, and HCMC attended the scene, and the investigation into the incident remains active.
