Madilyn Myhrman Injured in Duluth Car Crash on April 2, 2025
On April 2, 2025, at 12:18 p.m., a two-vehicle collision occurred on southbound Interstate 35 at 40th Avenue West in Duluth, St. Louis County, Minnesota, as documented by the Minnesota State Patrol under Incident Case Report 25270580. The incident involved a 2019 Dodge Caravan, driven by Nathan Allen Chambers, 38, of Cloquet, Minnesota, and a 2017 Chevy Silverado, driven by Christopher Sean Trader, 23, of Duluth, Minnesota. The Dodge Caravan, traveling in the left lane, attempted to change lanes on snow- and ice-covered roads, lost control, returned to the left lane, struck the Silverado, and came to rest in the right ditch.
Madilyn Marie Myhrman, 23, of Duluth, Minnesota, was a passenger in the Chevy Silverado. She sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment. The driver of the Silverado, Christopher Sean Trader, and the occupants of the Dodge Caravan—Nathan Allen Chambers and passenger Karen Louise Lepisto, 85, of Duluth—also sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to St. Mary’s Hospital and St. Luke’s Hospital, respectively. Airbags deployed in both vehicles, and all individuals were wearing seat belts, with no alcohol involvement reported. The Duluth Police Department, Duluth Fire Department, and Mayo Ambulance responded to the scene.
