Megan Stewart Killed in Fatal Crash on US 70 in Carter County, Oklahoma on September 12, 2025
On the morning of September 12, 2025, a fatal two-vehicle collision occurred on U.S. Highway 70 in Carter County, Oklahoma, resulting in the death of 28-year-old Megan Stewart of Healdton. According to reports from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Stewart was traveling eastbound on US 70 when another driver entered the intersection from OK-70A, pulling out from a stop sign directly into her path.
Stewart’s vehicle impacted the driver’s side of the other vehicle. She sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The male driver of the other vehicle was injured in the crash. The incident remains under investigation by authorities.
