Leon Jordan Killed in Lawndale, Chicago Car Crash on September 12, 2025

On September 12, 2025, a fatal vehicle collision occurred in the Lawndale neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident took place just before 2 p.m. at the intersection of South Sacramento Boulevard and West Arthington Street. According to the Chicago Police Department, a 42-year-old woman was operating a Chevrolet sedan southbound on Sacramento Boulevard when she collided with a Nissan SUV driven by 55-year-old Leon Jordan.

Jordan was transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office officially identified him following the crash.
