Motorcycle Accident in Crow Wing County: Dakota Beehner Injured

On April 10, 2025, at approximately 7:14 PM, a traffic collision occurred in Crow Wing Township, Crow Wing County, Minnesota, involving a 2004 Suzuki motorcycle and a 2020 Ford Explorer. The incident took place on County Road 45 near Cook Road, south of Brainerd, when the Ford Explorer, driven by 25-year-old Aidan James Bartels of Baxter, MN, attempted a U-turn while traveling southbound. Simultaneously, the Suzuki motorcycle, operated by 18-year-old Dakota William Beehner of Brainerd, MN, was also traveling southbound and collided with the Ford Explorer during the maneuver, resulting in a T-bone impact, as documented in incident report ICR: 25800540.

Dakota Beehner sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Brainerd St. Joe's Hospital for treatment. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, and authorities confirmed that alcohol was not a factor. Aidan Bartels, who was wearing a seatbelt, reported no injuries and did not require medical attention. The road conditions were dry, and the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office provided assistance at the scene.
