Non-Life-Threatening Injuries Reported in Otter Tail County Crash Involving Sharon Tschida

On August 12, 2025, a motor vehicle collision occurred at approximately 12:57 PM on Highway 78 in Perham Township, Otter Tail County, Minnesota. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Chevrolet Traverse was executing a northbound left turn when it was struck by a southbound Chrysler Pacifica. The road conditions at the time of the incident were reported as dry.

Among the passengers in the Chrysler Pacifica was 74-year-old Sharon Ann Tschida of Lakeview, Arkansas. She sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Perham Hospital for medical evaluation. The vehicle was operated by 80-year-old Timothy Allan Tschida, who also suffered non-life-threatening injuries. No evidence of alcohol involvement was reported. Emergency response at the scene included Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office, Perham Ambulance, and Fire and Rescue units.
