Paula Woll Injured in Northfield Car Accident

On May 5, 2025, at approximately 1:30 p.m., a traffic collision occurred on Minnesota Highway 3 at Mile Marker 11 in Northfield, Rice County, Minnesota. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2001 Ford Utilimaster U.S. Mail Truck, driven by 39-year-old Brigid Ann McCabe of Northfield, was attempting to turn northbound onto MN Highway 3 from Honeylocust when it collided with a 2019 Jeep Renegade driven by 62-year-old Paula Ann Woll of Cannon Falls. The impact caused the Jeep’s airbags to deploy, and both drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Paula Woll was transported to Northfield Hospital for treatment, while McCabe did not require medical attention at a healthcare facility.

Emergency services, including the Northfield Fire Department, Northfield Police Department, and Northfield Ambulance, responded promptly to the scene. The road conditions were dry at the time of the collision, and alcohol was not a factor in the incident.
