Peterson Roy Peterson Involved in Head-On Collision Near Elgin, Minnesota

On August 5, 2025, at 07:31 AM, a head-on collision occurred on Wabasha County Road 25, west of Elgin, Minnesota. The incident involved a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan, driven by Peterson Roy Peterson, 42, of Rochester, Minnesota, and a 2018 Dodge Ram, driven by Drew Douglas Wiskow Davis, 29, also of Rochester. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the Dodge Ram was traveling westbound while the Dodge Grand Caravan was eastbound when the vehicles collided. Peterson sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to MCHS Rochester St. Marys for treatment. Davis fled the scene but was identified by the Olmsted County Sheriff's Office prior to the crash. The investigation remains active, with support from the Wabasha County Sheriff's Office, Olmsted County Sheriff's Office, and Elgin Fire and Ambulance. Road conditions were reported as dry at the time of the incident.
