Ritsuko White Killed in Geneva, Illinois Crash on September 5, 2025
On September 5, 2025, Ritsuko White, 88, of Geneva, Illinois, was pronounced dead at the scene of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Bricher Road and Fisher Drive. Authorities reported that the crash occurred at approximately 1:40 p.m. when a 2005 Toyota Corolla, driven by her husband Dennis White, 85, was struck by a 2020 BMW X3 while attempting a left turn onto Bricher Road.
Dennis White later succumbed to his injuries at Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital. The BMW, operated by a 19-year-old male with three passengers, left the roadway and caught fire after the collision. All occupants of the BMW survived. The crash is under active investigation by the Geneva Police Department, Kane County Coroner’s Office, and the Kane County Accident Reconstruction Team. No charges have been filed at this time.
