Susan Peterson Injured in Wright County Crash

On June 22, 2025, a four-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of County Road 3 Southwest and 30th Street Southwest in Cokato Township, Wright County. Susan Peterson, 70, of Blaine, Minnesota, was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Lowell Peterson, 92, also of Blaine. Both individuals sustained injuries requiring hospitalization following the incident, which took place just before 3:00 p.m. The crash resulted in several other serious injuries, including to a 17-year-old from Cokato and a 13-year-old passenger in another vehicle. Emergency services, including Allina Ambulance and local fire departments, responded to the scene, and the Wright County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating the cause of the collision.
