Susana Garcia-Perez Killed in Skyway Hit-and-Run Crash

On July 24, 2025, a fatal hit-and-run incident occurred in Skyway, Washington, resulting in the death of 45-year-old Susana Garcia-Perez. According to the King County Sheriff’s Office, Garcia-Perez was struck by a white 1999 Royal Classic RV in the 12600 block of 68th Avenue South at approximately 10:30 p.m. The RV, which also collided with several parked vehicles, fled the scene immediately after the incident.Emergency responders arrived promptly but were unable to save Garcia-Perez, who succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The suspect was apprehended the following day near North Bend, thanks to tips from motorists who recognized the damaged RV from digital reader boards. The driver, whose identity has not been disclosed, was arrested and booked into the King County Jail on charges of vehicular homicide and felony hit-and-run.
