Tragic Crash on State Highway 7 Claims Life of Beverly Davis

On April 11, 2025, a fatal two-car collision occurred on State Highway 7 in Murray County, Oklahoma, claiming the life of Beverly Davis, a 43-year-old woman from the area. The accident took place at 2:27 p.m., four miles west of Davis, when Davis’s SUV collided with a truck driven by 77-year-old William Wildman of Sulphur. Emergency responders from the Davis Fire Department worked diligently for 30 minutes to extricate Davis from her vehicle, but despite their efforts, she was pronounced dead at Arbuckle Memorial Hospital in Sulphur. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has confirmed that all individuals involved were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash, and the cause of the incident, along with the condition of both drivers, remains under investigation.

The truck’s occupants, William Wildman, along with passengers Mary Wildman, 57, and Ryan Wildman, 20, sustained injuries but were fortunate to be treated and released from Mercy Hospital in Ardmore and Arbuckle Memorial Hospital in Sulphur. This tragic event serves as a somber reminder of the inherent risks of highway travel and the importance of ongoing road safety measures.
