La Salle Man Eric Mora-Nieto Killed in Electric Bicycle Crash

On April 11, 2025, a tragic accident claimed the life of Eric L. Mora-Nieto, a 33-year-old resident of La Salle, Illinois. The incident occurred at approximately 12:09 a.m. at 1202 May Road in Peru, just east of the Four Star Family Restaurant, as reported by the La Salle County Coroner’s Office. Mora-Nieto was riding an electric bicycle on the roadway when he was struck from behind by a motor vehicle, resulting in his immediate death at the scene despite efforts to save him.
