Troy Long Injured in DUI Rollover Crash on I-82 Near Ellensburg, Washington

On the afternoon of August 30, 2025, a serious rollover crash occurred on Interstate 82 approximately nine miles east of Ellensburg, Washington. According to the Washington State Patrol, a 2002 Ford Expedition left the roadway near milepost 7 at approximately 3:05 p.m., striking a dirt embankment before overturning. The vehicle was totaled in the incident.

The passenger, identified as 44-year-old Troy V. Long of Moses Lake, was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported to MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital with injuries. The driver, 41-year-old Amy J. Long, was also unrestrained and taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Troopers reported that drugs or alcohol were involved, and criminal charges against the driver are pending. The investigation remains ongoing.
