Tyler Peterson Dies in Scott County ATV Accident

On July 28, 2025, at approximately 9:54 p.m., a fatal accident occurred in New Market Township, Minnesota, involving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV). The Scott County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call reporting a crash on County Road 46 near 275th Street East. Tyler Lee Peterson, a 28-year-old resident of New Market, was operating the ATV when it overturned in the northbound lane after entering the intersection.
