Vickie Carr Dies in Motorcycle Accident on Highway 16 in Port Orchard

On June 13, 2025, a motorcycle accident occurred on Highway 16 in Port Orchard, Washington, resulting in the deaths of two individuals. The incident took place around 5 p.m. near the Tremont Street exit, where the driver lost control of the motorcycle. The deceased have been identified as David R. Smith, 65, and Vickie L. Carr, 68, both residents of Sequim, Washington. Both were wearing helmets at the time of the crash.
