John Beatty Involved in DUI Crash Near Ephrata

On August 4, 2025, a vehicular incident occurred near Ephrata, Washington, resulting in injuries to two individuals. The Washington State Patrol reported that Daniel A. Castillo, 27, of Ephrata, was operating a 2004 Honda Civic under the influence and possibly experiencing drowsiness, which led to the vehicle departing State Route 28 near milepost 44 and colliding with a ditch.
