Timothy Cayler Killed in Bicycle Accident in Minnesota

On the evening of June 8, 2025, a fatal collision occurred approximately 10 miles south of Willmar in west central Minnesota. Timothy Cayler, a 54-year-old resident of Lake Lillian, was struck by a passing minivan while riding his bicycle shortly after 7:30 p.m. The impact resulted in Cayler’s immediate death at the scene of the incident.

Cayler, originally from Barnesville, served as the Director of Music Ministry at the Church of St. Mary’s in Willmar. The Kandiyohi Sheriff’s Office, State Patrol, and multiple first responders attended the scene following the accident.
