Randy Raap Killed in Moses Lake Pedestrian Accident

On June 8, 2025, a pedestrian accident occurred in Moses Lake, Washington, resulting in the death of 56-year-old Randy H. Raap. According to the Washington State Patrol, Raap was struck by an SUV on Interstate-90. Reports indicate that Raap may have jumped from an overpass onto the freeway and was in the roadway when he was hit by a vehicle driven by 30-year-old Alexander Sparks of Everett. Sparks and his passenger were uninjured in the collision.

The incident remains under investigation. While the State Patrol has confirmed that Sparks was not intoxicated, it is still undetermined whether Raap was impaired at the time of the accident.
